Adult High School
The Adult High School at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is a fully accredited high school for all adult students (18 years of age or older) who need credits for high school graduation or college prerequisites. You can complete all your high school course requirements and get your diploma at the Adult High School. Or, if you've already graduated from high school and need courses like biology, algebra, geometry or chemistry for college, you can take those here.

Students with no previous high school experience would complete 40 credits of coursework. Meanwhile, students who have earned credits at other schools get advanced standing (credit for work already done), and then complete the remaining credits needed for graduation. At least 6 credits must be taken at MATC. One credit is equal to 5 hours of class per week for one semester or ten hours per week for one quarter.

It’s easy to get started. For more information on Adult High School, visit MATC Milwaukee's Adult High School Web site.
